NEW BRUNSWICK — Authorities are seeking for a murder suspect who is accused of fatally stabbing a city man Monday in a combat about a stolen cell cell phone.
Rogelio Lopez-Lopez, 55, was located in the region of Delavan Avenue and Jersey Avenue with numerous stab wounds at all around 3:35 a.m. Monday, in accordance to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Law enforcement Director Anthony Caputo.
The suspect was identified by an eyewitness as Adan Santiago-Feria, 22. He has brown eyes and is from Mexico. Detectives explained he understood the stabbing target and that it seems not to have been a random act of violence.
Santiago-Feria fled and has not been arrested nevertheless. He has been charged on a warrant with first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for illegal purpose, 3rd-diploma terroristic threats and fourth-diploma unlawful possession of a weapon.
