Windows

This reduces the risk of someone peering through your door to see what lovely good may await on the inside. Patio doors and French doors are a more specialised affair, however there are many high quality locks available so consult your local locksmith or French door fitter who will be able to supply and fit the best options available. For particularly vulnerable members of society, such as the elderly, fitting a chain to the front door is a very good idea as it enables you to see and speak to who is at the door before you fully open up. Make sure you buy a good quality chain and have it fitted properly to make sure it can withstand and attempts to break past it.
