The Fort Carson Mountain Post is found in the southwestern property area of Colorado Springs homes for sale . Housing areas are found north, east, and west of the army base. Across Interstate 25 to the East is the Stratmoor Valley property area. The Fountain Creek Trail runs through the Subdivision and goes south to the Fountain Creek Regional Park. The Stratmoor Valley property community has giant trees and was finished in 1961-2006.

The Broadmoor Oaks regionis loosely half an hour from Canon City south on Highway 115. The Arkansas Stream near Canon City provides outside opportunities such as fishing, kayaking, and white water rafting. The Broadmoor Oaks property area is found next to 4 golfing courses and one City Park.

Neighborhoods in the Broadmoor Spires property area were established in 2001-2007.

There are several cheap, carefully tended housing communitys near to the Fort Carson Mountain Post. These housing communitys are extended armed forces communitys as they are nearby Fort Carson and plenty of the residents are Fort Carson squaddies.
