Surrey Police officers were scrambled to a reports of a stabbing at a house in Camberley after 11.30pm last night – a 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder

Police have launched a murder probe after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death at a house in a small market town.
Cops have arrested a teenager on suspicion of murder after officers were scrambled to leafy Camberley in Surrey just after 11.30pm last night.
A statement from Surrey police said officers were called to reports of a stabbing at a home and found the lad suffering from stab wounds.
The teenager could not be revived and sadly died at the scene, police said.
Meanwhile, another 17-year-old was arrested a short time later on suspicion of murder, police said. He remains in police custody.
The force said people would see increased police patrols in the area throughout today as the investigation continues.

The Surrey Police statement read: “We were called to reports of a stabbing at an address in Camberley just after 11.30pm last night (27 May).
“A 17-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of murder, he remains in custody,” the force’s statement read.
“Sadly a 17-year-old man has died from his injuries at the scene.
“His family are aware and are being supported by officers.”
“There will be an increase in police presence in the area during the day as our investigation into this incident continues.
