1 killed in Town of Kirkwood house fire

UPDATE:

City OF KIRKWOOD (WBNG) — According to New York State Police, just one human being has died following Saturday’s dwelling fireplace in the City of Kirkwood.

Troopers responded to a fire on Johnson Road in the City of Kirkwood all around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Point out law enforcement says when troopers arrived on scene, an 87-year-outdated lady was presently removed from the residence. They say a second woman was documented to be inside of the household.

Troopers employed fire extinguishers in an attempt to obtain the second female. Associates of the Five Mile Issue Fireplace Division found the 94-yr-outdated woman.

Condition police states both of those girls ended up transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital for treatment plans of injuries from the hearth.

94-yr-old Eve L. Roys died at the healthcare facility.

Kirkwood Hearth, 5 Mile Point Fire, members of the Sheriff’s Department and Exceptional Ambulance responded to the scene.

Condition police says the investigation is on-likely.

City OF KIRKWOOD (WBNG) — Broome County Dispatch says injuries are unknown, but two people today had been transported to the clinic.

A 12 Information crew says as of 12 p.m., the fireplace was out.
