My husband and I knew that we were going to make Tampa our home. We had moved around a lot prior to this, so it was really exciting to finally know that we were settling down once and for all. The only bad thing about it was that we had very little time, so we decided to look at luxury apartments in Tampa FL rather than live out of a hotel until we found a house that we wanted. We wanted to get our twin sons established in their new school as quickly as possible.
We figured that we would be able to stay in an apartment for a year and get used to the area. That way, we would know which area of town we wanted to live in. The boys both groaned at having to live in an apartment, but that only lasted until they saw where we were going to live. When we showed them the Jefferson apartment, they both thought it was pretty cool that we would be living there. They liked all of the amenities that come with it, like the swimming pool and other activities.
For me, I was mostly interested in layout of the apartment. I really liked that the master bedroom and bath are on the opposite side of the apartment from the two bedrooms. The boys play loud video games, and that was enough of a buffer for me. They also have their own private bath, and there is a half bath, or powder room, just off the kitchen. The kitchen is a dream come true, and I even have a large pantry. There is an island for casual meals, but there is also a dining room too, which I liked a lot. This is going to be home for at least a year, but I suspect it may be longer than that!
